This
year’s diocesan theme is “We are Called”
Rivet’s
mascot is a Patriot and the school’s colors are Purple and Gold.
School
office is open Monday – Friday, beginning August 3rd, 8:00 am to
3:00 pm.
School
Masses are held every Thursday at 8:00 am in Old Cathedral. Students
report to their homerooms at 7:50 am for attendance. Students must
wear purple polo’s and khakis. Everyone is welcome to celebrate mass
with us.
Lunch is
provided for all students. The hot meal is $3.00, a-la-carte items are
provided at an additional charge. Grades 10 thru 12 have off-campus
privileges for lunch, but a signed parental consent form must be on file in
the office.
Bus
service is available. Please contact the office for additional
information.
Polo’s
can be purchased at Screen Printing Plus, 1001 Main Street, 882-6203.
Cost is $12.00 with the VR emblem. Colors include black, white, ash
gray, light blue, gold and purple. It takes 5-7 business days to
receive your polo.
Mass
Purple Polo’s are different, they have a cross emblem and can be purchased
in the office: Short Sleeve, Youth $20/ Adult $25. Long Sleeve
Youth $23/Adult $27. These polo’s can be worn any day but MUST be worn
on Thursday Mass Day.
Vincennes
University classes are offered at Rivet and on the VU campus for Seniors.
Rivet
offers a wide range of sporting activities. The students will be
updated throughout the year on these activities. You can also find the
Rivet Sports Schedules on
www.highschoolsports.net.
Rivet has
many extra curricular activities for the students to participate; Student
Council, Academic Teams, Honor Society, Art and Music programs, etc.
